.Dear Eligible Bachelors in Nigeria, any lady who doesn't pass at least 15 out of these tests is not a wife material by LOVE DOCTOR @joroolumofin .This article is inspired by a conversation I had with a couple of friends at a resort over the weekend. We realized that unlike our parents times it's very hard to identify the ONE because of social media, wedding pressures, most girls looking like barbies. Are there still loving traditional supportive women out there ?
Here are a few tests you can run on a prospective wife or lover

1️⃣ Ask her on a date using Keke Marwa, BRT or danfo Bus even if you have a car
2️⃣Tell her to go Natural. No makeup, weave-on or attachments
3️⃣Say you forgot your wallet on a date and see how she reacts
4️⃣Tell her you lost your job or you want to pursue your dreams OR you're quitting your job to be a DJ or barber
5️⃣Wake her up 3am in the morning to make you Eba and Okro soup
6️⃣Tell her you're celibate and you don't want sex till marriage
7️⃣Tell her you want to resign your job to be a worker in the house of God with little income.
8️⃣Get her all dressed up and take her to a fast food joint.
9️⃣If you have a beard, shave it all up 🔟Tell her to courtesy by kneeling while serving you food
1️⃣1️⃣ Propose without a ring
1️⃣2️⃣ Tell her your mother and 2 siblings are moving in with you after marriage
1️⃣3️⃣Tell her she must attend mid week service and join the choir mistress gild
1️⃣4️⃣ Tell her you're going country, leaving the city and moving to Iyana Iba or mowe ibafo
1️⃣5️⃣ Tell her to add your mom , dad and all siblings on social media and bbm
1️⃣6️⃣ Only on April fools tell her you got a University girl pregnant. Only on Aprils Fool Day.
1️⃣7️⃣ Tell her you're going for a course and she should wait for you. be it ( Msc , MBA, Phd )
1️⃣8️⃣ Tell her your mother will be cooking for you
1️⃣9️⃣ Tell her she can't watch Zee world or Telemundo anymore.
2️⃣0️⃣ Tell her no makeup artist, professional photographer for your wedding that you're saving up.
Fellas, trust me. try this. You will thank me later. Watch her facial Expressions and body language you will get the true "ID" persona / archetypes of your partner.

‘How I Became Ondo Governor’- Rotimi Akeredolu

Newly inaugurates Governor of Ondo State, Rotimi Akeredolu, on Sunday disclosed that his emergence as governor was a “ miracle.”

Speaking during a Thanksgiving Service held in his honour at the All Saint’s Church, Jericho, Ibadan, the state capital, Akeredolu also ascribed his victory to faith, trust and love for God.

“I can tell you that our success and victory in the election was a miracle. I contested once and I told the Lord that if I win, I will build a place of worship for you.

“I was not too sure that the victory will come but I said to the Lord that whether win, lose or draw I will build a place of worship for you.

“It is because I have that strong faith in God and we did it. And now that same Lord gave us the victory. So, my people you don’t have to wait until he answers your prayers before you do things for God.

“Do it may be that is where success will come. May be God remembered what we did and that was why he gave us victory, ”

Akeredolu, a former President of the Nigerian Bar Association, NBA, pledged to lead a purposeful government in the state.

The All Progressives Congress, APC, member noted that he was indebted to the church because he found all that he wanted in the church.

“It was in this church that I became a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, President of Nigeria Bar Association (NBA) and now a governor,”

Fayose drops his number tells Buhari....Speak with me to prove you are healthy-

Gov. Ayo Fayose of Ekiti state has said that if President Muhammadu Buhari is hale and hearty,he should speak with him instead of outsiders.

In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Idowu Adelusi, Fayose picked holes in statements that Buhari had spoken in one week, first with the king of Morocco and next with the president of the African Union.

” I advised the President to speak with me for the purpose of convincing Nigerians that he is hale and hearty instead of looking for people outside the country to convince Nigerians.” “If their problem is that they are looking for a credible person who can help them convince Nigerians that all is well with our President, Ayo Fayose is their best bet. Let the president speak with me. If I tell Nigerians that the president spoke with me, Nigerians will believe”, he said.
Since they are eager for the president to speak to people; believing in this way to convince Nigerians that their President is hale and hearty, let President Buhari talk to me. I can be reached on 08035024994. I am credible and Nigerians will believe me”, he said. “They said he spoke to President Donald Trump; despite the hype, Nigerians were sceptical. Then they said he spoke to the king of Morocco; again, Nigerians were suspicious. Before we recovered from that, it is now the AU president that they said President Buhari spoke to. “A president that can speak with outsiders should be able to whisper or wave to his own people. The people gave him the very important platform of President on which he stands today and, therefore, Presidential aides should stop giving the unhelpful impression that Buhari has no respect for the Nigerian electorate."

People who sell new Naira notes at parties now stand a chance of being arrested

Police, in conjunction with the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), have arrested 12 women for selling naira notes in parts of Lagos State, NewTelegraph reports.

The women were allegedly selling mint naira notes to people going to parties to ‘spray’ celebrates. They are likely to be charged for contravening Section 21 of the CBN Act, 2007.

The suspects included Fausat Jimoh, Bisoye Oyegbile, Balikis Ajadi, Bisola Amoru, Abidemi Oladejo and Ajoke Suraj. The Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) in charge of SCIID, Bolaji Salami, said: “It is an offence to sell naira notes at weddings or any gathering.

It contravenes the CBN Act. We arrested six suspects the previous weekend and later arrested six others on Friday. We recovered N35,500 from these suspects but N465,000 was recovered from those arrested last week.

They would be charged to court as soon as possible. Investigation would reveal how they come about these new currencies. We are going to get to the root of it because the offence is punishable by N50,000 fine, or six months imprisonment or both. No good country would allow its currency to be abused in anyway.”

An official of the CBN said: “We know that these are not the real targets because if they don’t get the mint notes, they won’t be able to sell it. So, our main targets are commercial banks and even our staff who release the money to these vendors.

We are also going to start arresting Nigerians who organise events and allow those selling naira notes in their venues. Already, we have started arresting people who ‘spray’ money at social events.”

Getting A White Collar Job In This Recession Won't Be A Bad Idea - Owen Gee

Popular comedian Owen gee, in a new interview with The Nation, talked about life at 40, his career and of course the current state of the nation.

Read excerpts below:

Tell us about what inspired your show

Well, the talk show, Buzz Live with Owen Gee, is a concept by Total Recall Media. After doing so many other things that were comedy-related like standup, stage plays, skits, and music comedy, I sat down and thought of the next step and decided to follow in the footsteps of international comedians who add the title of talk show host to their many achievements by doing a hilarious talk show that addresses current issues comically while getting to know celebrities resident in Nigeria. We shot two first seasons as a test run and it worked out well and so we continued and it has gathered acceptance and international appeal. We also wanted a segment where we can help up and coming artistes to appear on huge platform to sell their trade to a larger audience. That was why we introduced the What Was Buzzing? And we have had up to 50 or more.

What is it like trying to sustain such show?
Trying to sustain the show is one of the most difficult aspects of my career. In fact, we haven’t shot for a year now due to proper funding and returns. The recession is making it difficult to fill advert spots even when the show is a brilliant one. It has only been by the grace of God that we have survived.

We have to pay for so many things like the empty studio where we practically shoot the show. We have to pay for the construction of the set, lighting, sound, crew; that is because we do a three-camera shots. And then there are other things like logistics, costume, producers, directors and others. And getting sponsorship is a huge challenge.

That is why when we go to preach this huge concept to all those cable stations and they say they don’t have money, it’s always painful. Because the money we could have used to build houses and buy flashy cars or go abroad for holidays are put into these projects to entertain people. We have done three seasons on our own now and we are yet to do the fourth, which will cost about 17 million naira. So sponsorship has really been a major challenge.

Are you considering quitting and getting a white collar job?
Getting a white collar job is not something that I have really thought of, but it won’t be a bad idea.

People do not know that entertainers are professionals on their own. For one to be able to sit down and write three verses of a song, and it becomes a global hit is not an easy task. It is the same thing with having to sit down and put these jokes together for sitcoms, skits, stage plays, talk shows, concepts and writing scripts for movies; people do not know that it is a very huge task.

The white collar job is easier, because it is a monotonous way of doing things. We do the same thing repeatedly all the time. I won’t mind doing it. But if I want to, I would like to hold a political position. We have had a lot of people who haven’t been delivering well where governance is concerned. I would like to work in or with government. I won’t want to contest for any position. I would just love to go in and contribute my own quota. I don’t want it to be a permanent position.

But, really, a job is a job; whether white collar or not. As long as it can take care of your needs, putting in work as a labourer and getting paid wages is what is important.

How easy is it to put up a show and get returns?
I haven’t really done a stand-up comedy show. I am planning my first one for this year. I wanted to put up one last year, but I put it on hold and started the movie project.

Why?
It eats a lot into my time and finances. And I could not really put the show together. And for those who say it is not possible, it is only few that have been able to do it and break even. For a lot of people, it is all about brand building, selling. They sell their brand out to the fans and loyal customers. Whatever cost is used to put up the show is far more than what they get in returns.

A show that takes place in somewhere like Eko Hotel sees you pay between 20 and 22 million naira just for a night. And that does not include the money for surcharge, the artistes, the lightening, the crew, and the media coverage. And at the end you have to invest like 50 million to put up a good show and in return get like 25million from the gate fee.

Don’t forget that you will have people who will come to beg you for free ticket, reminding you of how they helped you when you started. It’s really killing.

And I have asked some of my colleagues who have done it and they were like, ‘guy, if you are making this to make money, then you are wasting your time. ‘It is all about brand building.’ And that is what scares me.

That is why I will be using a different approach to my show. I will be using a smaller venue, and non conventional method to prove to them that I can still do it and make profit.

Obasanjo At 80: 2 Major Projects To Be Opened, 45 Serving, Ex-presidents To Attend

On March 5, 2017, one of Nigeria’s former presidents Olusegun Obasanjo will be celebrating his 80th birthday.

The celebration is set to be a grand affair as at least 45 serving and past presidents across the globe are expected to grace the ceremony.

Dayo Adeneye, who is the chairman, Publicity and Media Sub-committee of ‘Obasanjo at 80’, explained what would happen on that day to journalists on Wednesday, March 1.

According to Premium Times, Mr. Adeneye, who is also the Ogun state commissioner for information and strategy, said a multi-billion naira Presidential Library and Mosque would be opened for use during the grand ceremony.

He also said that the world leaders present during the ceremony will witness the opening of the two major projects in Abeokuta, Ogun state.

He went on to praise the celebrant, saying that the grand opening of the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL) attested to the popularity and honor bestowed on him as one who has to continue to contribute to the development of the nation and humanity.

He said: “Obasanjo is a worthy and exemplary leader, who, most leaders in the world, are emulating his leadership skills. Let me say that no fewer than 45 serving and past presidents and 700 important personalities in the world would attend the grand opening of OOPL this weekend.

Good News!! Power Supply Gets N701Billion Boost

Power supply, which stands at 4,000 megawatts, is set for a major boost.

The Federal Executive Council (FEC) yesterday approved N701 billion Power Assurance Guarantee for the Nigeria Bulk Electricity Trading (NBET)—to ensure a better supply of gas to the power plants. This will in turn improve power supply.

One of the major problems of the sector has been the lack of gas for power plants and the complaints about access to funding by the Generating Companies.

Minister of Power, Works and Housing Babatunde Fashola announced the FEC approval after yesterday’s meeting chaired by Acting President Yemi Osinbajo.

With him at the briefing were Minister of Information Lai Mohammed and Minister of Agriculture Audu Ogbeh.

Fashola said the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) facility will guarantee payment for the evacuation of power produced by Generating Companies (GenCos) for the national grid.

It will be drawn monthly to tackle the GenCos liquidity challenges.

NBET will pay GenCos, which have been unable to pay their gas suppliers, in arrears of electricity generated as a deliberate step to boost their confidence and that of intending investors in the sector.

Fashola said: “You will recall that a few weeks back we announced the approval of council for early works for the second Niger Bridge. That bridge at some time was part of a PPP initiative. You will also recall that at the same time, some private agreements were signed to build the Lagos-Ibadan express way.

“The first memo is to brief council on the PPP status of those infrastructure projects and present options to government, which was essentially that where those PPPs are having problems, government must lead and finance the infrastructure while continuing to engage the private sector. Government remains committed to ‎having private participation in infrastructure renewal.

“But government, as a matter of strategy; thinks that it can continue until financial closures, agreements and all of that are put in place when PPPs become ready and viable to help deliver. So, it was a strategy memorandum, the conclusion essentially which is that government is committed to doing short financing as much as possible and encouraging PPP as much as possible.

End Time! Girl Begs ‘Rapist’ For S3x, Mocks Him For Using C0ndom

A Zimbabwean man has been acquitted of raping his “under-age” girlfriend when it was proved in court that she is much older and had actually tricked him to have sex with her.

Methuseli Ncube (30) had pleaded not guilty to a rape charge and told the court that he was in a relationship with Simangaliso Nkala.

She insisted that we have sex. She told me that she was 16 years old. I suggested that we wait till she turned 18 but she laughed at me saying I’m not a real man. I’m the only one who sees her as an underage girl. She said she had slept with men before.” said Ncube.

He added that he finally gave in to her taunts and slept with her in August last year while he was accompanying her to her grandmother’s home.

She sent two children to fetch me. On our way she said she was tired and wanted to rest. She suggested that we sit behind a rock. That was when we slept together. I realised that she was not a virgin. I used a condom but she mocked me for doing so,” he said.

Bulawayo Regional Magistrate Mrs Sibongile Msipa-Marondedze acquitted Ncube after Nkala also testified that she and her alleged rapist were lovers. Nkala said she had consented to having sexual intercourse with Ncube, ZimNews reports.

Dismissed policeman works in Lagos command for eight years

A former policeman, Adeh Ada, has been arrested by the Lagos State Police Command for allegedly parading himself as a cop in the state, eight years after his dismissal.

PUNCH Metro learnt that Ada, who was attached to the Mopol 11 in Calabar, Cross River State, was dismissed sometime in February 2009, for losing his firearm.

While awaiting his letter of dismissal, the suspect allegedly manoeuvred his way and got a transfer to the Area C Command of the Lagos State Police Command.

He was said to be going for illegal duties and extorting money from motorists, through which he allegedly survived for eight years.

A Divisional Police Officer, who observed the unethical conduct of the Benue State indigene, reportedly summoned and queried him.

A police source said Ada opened up that he had not been paid salary since 2009 when he was “transferred” to Lagos from Calabar.

“The DPO, who was alarmed, quickly wrote the state command’s Provost Marshal and he was transferred to the command headquarters for investigation. The police authorities wrote the Cross River State Police Command for information about him.
“That was when the signal came that he had been dismissed since 2009 when he lost his firearm. Investigations showed that he manoeuvred his way to Lagos and resumed at the command. How he was able to do that still remains a mystery,” he said.

Ada, a former inspector, told PUNCH Metro that he had spent eight years in the police force and had risen to become an inspector when he lost his firearm. He insisted that he was not dismissed.

He said,
“I was at a checkpoint sometime in 2009 with four other members of my team. A speeding vehicle suddenly hit me and my rifle got hooked to the bumper of the vehicle.
“One of my colleagues, Sergeant Gabriel, rode on a motorcycle and chased it. Afterwards, I also got a vehicle to chase the bus. I met Gabriel standing in front of Zone 6 command headquarters and he said he could not catch up with the bus. He advised me to continue the chase to White Market, Calabar. Unfortunately, I could not find the bus.”
He said he stood for an orderly room trial where he was recommended for dismissal, adding that he appealed the decision and asked that he be surcharged for the loss of the rifle.

He said he had yet to be served a letter of dismissal when “I demoted myself and came to Lagos.”

He said,
“The panel recommended dismissal for me, and I appealed it. In my appeal, I said I should be surcharged for the rifle, which is in line with the Police Act, Section 400, which says any police officer or rank and file that loses his firearms by negligence or other means can be surcharged.
“I demoted myself and came to Lagos in February 2009 with a letter which posted me to Area C. I have been working there since then. I put on my uniform and go to work every day.
“It was when I asked for my salary through my DPO that they sent a signal that I was dismissed in February 2009.”
Asked how he had been sustaining his family, the suspect, who said he relocated with his four children and wife to the Agege area of Lagos State, said he had been relying on “God and family members.”

The police had arraigned Ada before an Ikeja Magistrate’s Court for impersonation and unlawful possession of police uniform.

No Nigerian killed in South Africa’s xenophobic attacks- Minister

No Nigerian died in the renewed xenophobic attacks in South Africa, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Mrs Khadijah Abba Ibrahim, told the Senate yesterday.
The minister based her statement on the information from the Nigerian High Commission in South Africa.

The minister said nobody was convicted as a result of previous attacks and no compensation was paid by the South African government.

The Chairman of the Senate Foreign Affairs Committee, Senator Monsurat Sunmonu, told the minister that Nigerians were interested in what the government was doing to protect them in South Africa.
“We want to hear from the ministry that the Acting High Commissioner has actually invited Nigerians to talk to them to give them solace because tomorrow, nobody knows what is going to happen again.
We are only telling them (Nigerians), to please hide to give a low profile. That means we have told them not to engage in their businesses again that they should be in hiding which is not good for Nigerians.
“To the committee we are not happy, we are highly disappointed and what we would expect is that your delegations, we have the mandate of the two Houses for us to go to South Africa. We will all go together see them and look at the memoranda of understanding or bilateral of what you are signing.
“It has to be give and take. If it is necessary Nigeria will not hesitate to put sanctions on South Africa.
After about one hour of deliberation, the Senate yesterday resolved to dispatch a “powerful” parliamentary delegation to South Africa to express the displeasure of the Nigerian parliament over the attacks.

China To Start Paying Couples To Have More Than One Child

China is considering introducing birth rewards and subsidies to encourage people to have a second child, after surveys showed economic constraints were making many reluctant to expand their families, the state-owned China Daily has reported.
The idea was revealed by Wang Peian, vice-minister of the National Health and Family Planning Commission, at a social welfare conference on Saturday, the newspaper said Births rose to 17.86 million in 2016, the highest level since 2000, after the country issued new guidelines in late 2015 allowing all parents to have two children amid growing concerns over the costs of supporting an ageing population.

“That fully met the expectations but barriers still exist and must be addressed,” Wang was quoted as saying. “To have a second child is the right of each family in China but affordability has become a bottleneck that undermines the decision.” A poll conducted by the commission in 2015 found that 60% of families surveyed were reluctant to have a second baby, largely due to financial constraints.

China’s birth rate, one of the world’s lowest, is fast becoming a worry for authorities rather than the achievement it was considered at a time when the government feared over-population. China began implementing its controversial one-child policy in the 1970s in order to limit population growth, but authorities are now concerned that the country’s dwindling workforce will not be able to support an increasingly ageing population.

The policy was ended in 2015. The Communist party credited it with preventing 400m births, contributing to China’s dramatic economic takeoff since the 1980s.
